Yuneec released its new H850 drone in August 2022. It seems they are finally listening to the consumer when it comes to the compatibility of their cameras, gimbals, and controllers. I complained to Yuneec on many occasions about the compatibility issues of the gimbals and cameras. Who wants to spend 5-10k on a drone for their business that will use an outdated gimbal/camera in less than a year? Yuneec's H850 is even backward compatible with the H580 payloads.
The new drone is a bit expensive (8000 USD) but comes with some nice perks. The 65-minute air time is amazing. The new ground station is pretty impressive also. It has a dual IMU, compass, RTK antennas, and even a dual battery system. A pilot can swap battery power without having to land, change a battery, and reboot.

For someone using a UAV for their business, this is a decent drone to have. These prices are a bit ridiculous but the DJI Matrix is 10,000 USD so they are under the leader of the industry's prices. They say the high cost is due to the engineering and technology being used to build these things. Yuneec also mentioned the crazy amount of attention they spent on security issues with their flight logs when designing the new H850. I know there was an issue with their commercial side security in previous UAVs.

The bottom line, the average consumer won't be purchasing this UAV, because of the commercial price. In a few years, we may see a couple of these making their way to the pre-owned market when businesses start updating their fleets.

It'll be more proper to sort the battery and chargers problems and compatibility as well !
