On the road

So after many months of delays, we were finally able to get on the road. We are in Savannah GA for a couple of weeks right now, and plan to head up the coast over the next few weeks. This is only a short trip. We wanted to test the waters, so to speak, so we could figure out all the things we missed or forgot.

Our 30 foot Class C motorhome looks like a baby, compared to the awesome Class A motorhomes we are camping with. Some of these people have spent some big bucks on their RVs.

We met a couple that handles all the financials for some of the bands we all know. Molly Hatchet, 38 Special, Def Leppard, are just a few they handle. We exchanged numbers and they are going to let us meet some of them. How awesome??!!

This is what we towed to use to get around. I built this over the last several years to have on our beach trips. I plan on building another one, with a full body, for winter trips.

Somehow, the guy driving looks familiar to me. I just don't know where from.

We are leaving Savannah this Friday. We are going to head up the coast to the Outer Banks of NC.
Savannah is beautiful, but after two or three days, you have seen everything you need to see. If anyone is planning a trip to Savannah, don't plan to stay more than a week, or you will get bored.

We have seen several alligators in the lake at our campground. They didn't seem too friendly, so I decided not to pet them.
