The last update for the Typhoon H did also include an update for the cgo3+.
I was surprised to notice that you now can pan and tilt the cgo3+ on the steady grip if you connect the st16 zo the cgo3+ as you do in team mode.

Dependant on the settings of pan and tilt miode you can steer pan and tilt with the right joystick or the pan and tilt control.

To obtain the normal functionality of the steady grip and use the stt16 only for on off and video monitor and some other camera control you have to swith the cgo3+ back to single mode.
This is the main advice i can give: Set the st16 to team mode and you can use the cgo3+ with the st 16 on any other model copter, ship, air balloon and so on, only providing the 12V power supply.

Perhaps this is of use for aereal photographers which are using a long telescop mast to avoid copter flights.

The CGO3+ is now an independent camera device which you can steer with st16 via 5.2 GHz if you did switch it before to team mode. I do not know why yuneec is not telling us this feature, maybe they themselve do not know.
Cheers

Does anyone have detailed information on the connection to the CGO3+? Do we know which pins carry what data/voltages?

Thinking about this a bit more it means we can now do two very cool hacks.

1. Put a cgo3 mount on the back of our st16. Wire up power and we have a full action cam with control.

2. Twin cameras on the typhoon. Rip a cgo3 apart. Take out the camera and vtx boards. Dump the gimbal. Mount cam and vtx in case and supply power. Now in team mode you should be able to connect to the cam for a fixed fpv view whilst camera operator has their view.

Time to get the hammers out ;-)
