Pan /Tilt Wont work (deep thought troubleshooting help)

Me too! Thanks for the help, almost sad I never got around to messing with the signal feeds. Will keep that info in the pocket for a later date.
I am having the same issue with gimbal (no manual tilt or pan.)
Other functions: video, FPV, camera image selections, photo, panorama, WB, & speed work.
Only ST16 selections for calibrate, pan & tilt are not working.
It looks like the main board has no actual gimbal control logic.
All its SMD's look like ESC's & power supplys.
It's a pass-through of the radio & gimbal signals in & out of the FC.
All the logic (EG: gimbal calibration) must be done in the flight control daughter board.
Calibration is my best clue since is relates the H's IMU offsets to the gimbal stops.
I will next swap & bind a different FC.
UPDATE:
I tried the scuffed up camera on another H. Still no tilt no pan.
So the gimbal is bad.
UPDATE:
Another slip ring wire broke after I fixed the crash damage.
I'll maybe get a new slip ring next month.
In the meantime the RTF referb is working great, and I now have a parts cannibal.
UPDATE 4/2/20:
The new slip ring is installed. Still no tilt or pan from the 2.4Ghz.
The 5.8Ghz functions all work, including the auto panoramic sequence.
Also this gimbal on a different H, still no tilt or pan.
