Panning shot with the new Trim feature

It works really well I think. In this example I used the trim only to start and stop along with a little yaw.

If you set the gimbal yaw to global and turn the knob slightly, you will get a slow pan. Combine this with the cruise control for pan and you an get a very smooth combination yaw/pan with hands off. Add some throttle for more effect.
