Hi, i have a faulty Yuneec-C23 Camera, from ebay.

can any one help how i can power it without the attached drone.

as i am sure you all know under the connector it has

PWM, VBAT, GND, TX

can i connect say 5v to the Vbat and ground to get some form of life from it. ?

is there any software that will " see " the camera if i can get it to power,

any format is fine, windows, ios or android.

many thanks Kevin.

5V is not enough. There is a step-down converter to make 5V from battery voltage. It is good to go with 14-16V.
The camera itself will create a WiFi hotspot at 5GHz band. You can connect to this Wifi with any device that is capable to work on 5GHz (wich are neary all newer devices like PC, notebook, tablets and mobile phones) as usual with SSID of teh camera (SSID should start with C23...).

Video stream address is: rtsp://192.168.42.1/wfd1.0/streamid=0

fantastic, my thanks.
I was only going to risk stepping up to 12v
I'll now go a little higher before bottling it and abandoning my attempt.

hi, my thanks again ive got it powered,
very carefully holding a couple of wires on, i'm at work so can't play properly, yep i am that impatient ;)

it asks for a password for the wifi,
is this the same for all C23's ?
there is a number next to what may be a wifi symbol on the camera
is the password the CAJ number ?

again my thanks for your help.
