Has anyone tried (or know) if the Playstation VR set can be used as a viewing device via HDMI with the ST-16?

Im a gamer and this could kill 2 birds with one stone. I am also considering the Skyview set.

it works but keep in mind that the PS4 VR requires 110v power.

I saw a bunch of VR goggles at Walmart yesterday. I wonder what their power requirements are?

Can't seem to get a decent review of the skyview though.
