I have a Q 500 and I noticed a small plug right inside the battery port does anyone know what’s that’s four?

Right side of battery tray? Harness is used for connecting machine up to GUI software interface for updates/testing/making changes etc.
How and when do you have to update the Q500 4k bird. What are the indicator that a pilot will look for during the pre intra post flight.
