Q500+ compass shield?

How can we shield the compass sensor on Q500+ ?

The compass should not need any shielding. Are you having a problem calibrating it?

I need to shield it for ac magnetic fields, when i fly near electric power lines(at distance less than 20m).
I allready tried the mcl61 shield with very good results.
Two layers of that material attenuate the field by 80db.

Seems to me that if you shield the compass from electromagnetic interference you might also shield it from the Earth's magnetic field.

The mcl61 shield is only for a.c magnetic fields and not for d.c, it has no effect to compass calibration at all.
