Can the q500 be used on drones other than Yuneec?

Gimbals can be swapped to different aircraft but communication protocols are often not unless they use a different kind of comm system. Yuneec gimbals employ a comms protocol that is only functional with a Yuneec transmitter intended for that gimbal type.
