I have had my replacement H Plus for a week now but have only flown it twice due to weather. One thing I have noticed is this then I hit "Return to home" it just doesn't come back within about 15' like my old one did, this one land within a inch or two of its takeoff footprint, its also much faster and full speed without "Sport" is the same speed my old on was in "Sport" mode. I need to keep it in lower speed range most of the time. I took it to Cajon Pass in Southern California and on 822 it performed perfect so don't worry about the calibration menu being password protected, it doesn't need it.

How can you know what will happen tomorrow? or in 6 months?
You may already have to calibrate your RC following a drift in time sticks (which happens to many RC used frequently).
