first 6 flights with the rtk went well. flights were 2 sets of 3 back to back. with e30zx. soi far no issues cropped up. waiting on a day to do all six flight batteries back to back. flight times are better than expected avg 20 to just shy of 24 min. I have to keep a eye on the connector head temps are not burning but warmer than the batteries from the h520e running first gen h520 and h480 flight batteries.

RTK is used in mapping to provide a reference with surveying. A web search will provide a wealth of information on the subject.

RTK enhances the GPS accuracy of the drone, typically to within a few centimeters. It uses a base station as a fixed known point and corrects the GPS readings on the drone accordingly. This is very useful in the mapping and photogrammetry world. The more accurate your drone's known/relative position, the more accurate the survey from photogrammetry is. Photogrammetry usually has a fudging factor that it allows the drone's position to be adjusted to meet the estimated triangulation; however, with RTK equipped you can tell the photogrammetry software to greatly reduce that fudge factor (typically from 3 meters down to 5ish centimeters) this limits the photogrammetry software from coming up with large amounts of erroneous data.

another 7 flights done with new firmware. so far the new internal frame is holding up.

robodot rtk base station works with yuneec h520e. just did a basic connection test.

Do i need any simcard for this one for use, Or how did you get this thing working?

no sim card needed. has a built in wifi. connect to that and add the info into the st16e for the ntrip. for the operation manual register with robodot to gain access to it.

got the h520e rtk backup in the air didi seven back to back flights non rtk mode. set the speed to max 31 mph and now can get total distance in air up to 51k feet from 35k feet. and about 20 min or a bit more per h520e oem battery and gifi 8000mah the h3 oems 19 to 19.5 min with lower distance of 45k ft of total distance traveled at 31 mph. flights were flown in laps. not out and back just yet.
