I managed to land the H today with the gear up - camera popped 3 of the 4 dampers out. Thanks to YouTube, I used the string method and got the 2 re-seated that don't have the safety pin through the middle. How do you do the one with the pin in it. Doesn't seem possible to use the string.

One side of the pin is removable... remove pin → reseat dampener → replace pin → before replacing camera, carefully inspect for any damage... include checking to make sure all gimbal mount contacts are free to make contact and not pinned down → replace camera

There are two types of pins.
The older ones were just a washer, and the pin had a fork in it. Push the pin up so the washer is exposed and pop it off.
The newer type, the pin is straight and the washer is a "C" clip.
For me I just used one side of a pair of tweezers and just poked the damper back into place. Need to use something with a rounded end so you don't poke through the damper.
