I just got my new H+ yesterday. I love the super bright screen in full sun. But, when in the shade or dusk/dawn, it is way too bright. Plus that bright screen destroys the battery life. I cannot for the life of me find a way to lower the brightness. Is it even possible? Maybe I could download a 3rd party screen filter?

Do you have a st16+ for the H (not +)

I don't have a H480.
Well, I only have the ST16+ for the typhoon H. Not the H+. On the flight scheen there should be a icon that says "Ipad" Tap on that and it will take you to the Ipad system on the remote. In there you be able to adjust the brightness. You might need to drag a widget out on the main scheen.
Let me know if that helps you.

Actually if you tap the sun it should adjust the brightness. Try that too.

I also found it by dragging down the notification bar, just like on my phone. SMH. Coming from a Q500+, I didn't think this transmitter was just like a real tablet. I figured it was just like my other one.

I actually just found it. It's in the Android settings.
There should be a widget shortcut you can drag into the main scheen to change the scheens brightness

Just to clarify for those reading, the H Pro uses the ST-16+. The H Plus uses the ST-16S. @TurboDad81, please when you get a chance, specify the steps you took to get to those setting adjustments.

No problem. The ST16S works just like any Android cell phone or tablet. When you turn on the transmitter, it automatically opens in the Yuneec FlightMode2.0 app. Just hit the back button soft key below the screen to get to the Android home screen. It asks if you want to exit, hit yes. Once at the home screen, pull down the notification bar and hit brightness. Move the slider to wherever you want. I don't think the Auto feature works. I don't see a sensor anywhere for that on the screen.IMG_20181205_110308768.jpegIMG_20181205_110327375.jpegIMG_20181205_110344490.jpegIMG_20181205_110402118.jpegIMG_20181205_110438112.jpeg
