ST16S starts with FlightMode(1.0) every time after Factory Reset

Hello Guys,

I'm having a problem with my ST16S after I've done a Factory Reset.

I've bought a second hand H plus recently and reset the Controller to delete all data from the previous owner. I have read the posts about it and had watched some videos on YT.
In the end, I just did the reset, and there was no more Yuneec apps on the Controller and it started on the green pad home screen.
Then, I followed the posts and instuctions linked below.

I followed the instructions in this video (linked here)
FlightMode 2.0 re-install - I used the firmware files from the 2nd link in message #12 (linked files)

After the ST16S had started, it started right in the old FlightMode app for the H480. Later, I installed the FlightMode2.0 app, it was still working without any problems. I selected the 2.0-app as homescreen, checked if it was working and turned it off. I turned it on again to check once more, but again the old app showed first. I did the same a few more times, but it didn't work.
Then I reset the ST16S again to factory settings, but as it started back up, the old app was still on there.
I did a 2nd reset wit an SDcart inserted. On that were following files:

Typhoon H Plus issues with ST16S controller - I used the linked files (linked files, Build 893 reset files) in the instruction in the Dropbox-file (linked instruction, ) in message #6
But unfortunately, there was no change.
I also can't deinstall the old app or deactivate it, it would be enough to not having it pop up every time.

What i would like to do, is to reset it on the blank android and then install just the FlightMode2.0 app, if possible.

So, is there any way to suppress or remove the old app, or a way to permanently set FlightMode2.0 as homescreen-app?

Other ideas to solve the problem are highly welcome.

You added the files for the h480 first , u need to format the sdcard again to fat32. Install the hplus firmware from yuneecskins website, the same ones Steve added in the video above and follow the instructions to the letter

The files in message #12 is the FW for the ST16 from H480. You turned the ST16S into a ST16. This is the reason why the flightmode app from H480 is the default starter.
I'm surprised that it was not solved with reinstall Build 893. Are you sure you have done all steps to update with the build 893 FW?

Getting rid of the original H480 firmware is difficult because it does not respond to the same update file process as the ST16S series. There is no direct route back to the original "HPlus only" firmware configuration. You must first convert the ST16S controller to an ST16S for H520. The H520 uses a more effective update system that replaces the H480 system instead of simply adding to it.
Once the controller is functioning as an ST16S for H520, it can be converted cleanly to an ST16S for HPlus.
This works for an original ST16. It should also work for an ST16S that was converted to ST16.
The challenge will be the language barrier. Each step must be performed correctly, and the guidance attached below is written in English. The document translators may or may not provide a technically accurate translation in your language.

I thought I have made sure to use the right files, and everything was in context with the ST16S, but who knows...
