Here’s something to play around with, and wondering if any of you has experience with telemetry file conversion?
Garmin came out with “VIRB” video editor that enables telemetry overlay to your footage.
The problem is this. The most common telemetry files are .cvs or .srt and GARMIN only supports.gpx and .fit files, thus the files needs to be converted.
I have done a .cvs to .gpx conversion online and Steve helped me out yesterday in converting my telemetry files via QGround app, but the editor does not accept the conversion. Somehow, when converting the telemetry in a .gpx format GARMIN is not able to read the gps points.
What I have not been able to do, is upload the .cvs file into google earth, and convert it as .gpx or save as .kml and this .kml to .gpx and or text and then .gpx
