Hello everyone. I have a Typhoon H+ with a ST16S controller. Bought the rig when it was first released, within 6 flying hours the copter crashed and Yuneec replaced it for free because the control computer failed on the drone. Haven't had any problems since then. Now my 16S will not boot. Battery is fully charged......when I power on, the large "Yuneec" icon comes on, then the screen goes blank, then the smaller "Yuneec" comes on and keeps restarting. I never get to the Flight App or even anything Android. It seems like it's stuck in a loop. The only adjustment I made from one day to the next was updating my Wi-Fi settings. Did it try to query a server that probably isn't active anymore. Any help is much appreciated. Also, when it is constantly looping, when I turn the power switch off, the blue light turns off, but the unit continues on.

It sounds like it thinks it is on charge, but either is not on charge or the charging circuit is messed up.
Does it do anything different if it is actually connected for charging?

I may be wrong but this sound for me like the battery is bad. A "full charged" battery is detected by voltage, but by voltage without load. The voltage may break down if the ST16 starts up and demands current. This what we called internal resistance of the battery. Aged batteries may have a too high internal resistance and thus things go wrong.

So, I just ordered a new battery. We'll see if that helps. I was just thinking that it may be the power switch itself. This was in a very dusty environment (Gila National Forest in New Mexico). While I'm waiting for the battery, I'll crack it open and clean the power switch and see what happens. Thanks for your suggestions. The battery is over 5 years old.....they don't last forever.
