At least IR/UV filter works pretty well. I changed the lens of one from my cameras with bit longer one and without the IR filter. The idea is to use a yellow filter and blue channel to be IR responsive. Red and green will sumarized with IR. But to have a good optics only for one task is not so good and I bought a Sybony IR/UV to use the glass.
