Typhoon H+

I remember fondly when someone was operating a table saw outside and they came up to me and said my drone was making too much noise.

In the future I will require all spotters to bring a leaf blower with them... :)

Often times because of deadline issues although most of those used to be because they were printed instead of electronic files the first manuals would be very inaccurate because they were created before they knew what final characteristics and appearance the product would have.

Unacceptable in a world of PDFs... what... they can't afford a full version of Acrobat Pro?

and... as you've demonstrated that's not a workable strategy as you can't figure out how to calibrate the compass.

For the money spent they obviously rushed this to market to beat DJI to some date.

That's to bad, I know DJI has redundancy in at least the Inspire 2 , if you added th 6 motors of the H+ they could have advertised it as the safest. I guess it's back to working on my scatch built hex and octo for critical flights and I was hoping to be lazy in my old age and have it out of the box

I think the two big things were that the E-90 was not producing rectilinear images and there is no POI/Orbit feature - this hits both people wanting to do surveys and those expecting to use it as a videographers' tool....
Certainly it's able to produce some good footage if given the chance:
Yes, that's very nice video! I like your dolly shots. I'll be happy if the C23 looks as good as that.

I had someone trolling me on my youtube videos stating that my H makes to much noise and should not be allowed to fly in Minnesota parks.

I stated that snowmobiles and 4 wheelers are considerably louder than my drone. He then stated that my drone could go out of control and do damage. I said that a 4 wheeler and snowmobile has considerably more potential for doing damage.

He then stated that I was inconsiderate ot others and I had put no thought into flying drones in the park. I told him that I had called the nearby airport, police department and the state park rangers. He proceeded to tell me I couldn't fly in the park and I informed him that I couldn't take off or land in the park. I also informed him that the state park had seen my videos and are now collaborating with me to make promotional videos.

My point is that there are always gonna be social justice warriors that you can't please. But it sure felt good shoving my proverbial boot up his proverbial rear end.

Like the 920 do you think Yuneec will repackage the 520 and paint it silver and chop the hardware to unload them?

Here's his youtube comment that he put on all 4 of my videos that were done in the park.

"The division discourages use of unmanned aircraft in state parks, state recreation areas, and state waysides because of the impracticality of their operation under existing rule. Unmanned aircraft or drones are defined as "aircraft" by the Federal Aviation Administration and it is unlawful to land any aircraft on lands or water totally within the boundaries of any state park, state recreation area, or state wayside. Because of the prohibition on "landing," operating unmanned aircraft in these areas is not practical. The division is also concerned about the impact of unmanned aircraft to natural resources (especially wildlife), to division buildings and infrastructure, and to other visitors' safety, privacy, and quality of experience. "

I gave a heartfelt response to his criticisms and informed him that I wasn't fond of him assuming that I fly without any thought or considerations of others.

After living a few years in the Pacific Northwest I found there was never any possibility of reasoning with a tree hugger or vegan. They won’t be happy until everyone, except themselves, is running around barefoot and naked, living in caves, and using their fingers and toes to dig up edible roots.

You are so huggerphobic and veganphobic. Now on a serious note it is interesting that this is now becoming the norm and the socialist, used to be hippies and now BLM and Antifa are the ones pushing the regulation agendas.

Just had a chat with Angel S. of Yuneec. He says the wand is not compatible with the H PLUS. I asked if it might be in the future - he did not know but said they were trying to add features. This makes sense since they redid all the code for the ST16S and H +. Maybe six months down the road it might get supported.

That reminded me of an old joke that can’t be told here. Something about a first timer practicing at a knothole and a bee hive....

Apparently the cruise control and camera adjust toggles are not coded at this point? Or did I miss how to activate them?

Nope, still waiting on a future update...
