Typhoon H520E Issue

Greetings from Germany. I'm hoping you can give me a little advice.

I have a Typhoon H520E with a thermal camera that I got from a friend, and I want to revive it if possible. It was standing in the field two days ago, ready to fly, and then the remote control crashed. After that, it was impossible to connect to the Typhoon.

I reinstalled DataPilot, but now I suspect something is wrong with the Typhoon itself. After turning it on, it just stands there with the left arm red, the right arm green, the front arms white, and the rear arms blinking purple.

From what I've read, this means it's in Angle mode without a GPS signal, so it did not initialize. Is there a way to fully reset the Typhoon? Also, I can't get any connection through the Typhoon GUI.

I don't want to throw this thing away. It can still be useful if I can get it to fly again.

I had a similar issue with a h plus.

I’d wait for other suggestions first , it might be something more simple

My one was also showing enough satellites on the controller for a gps lock, have a look at urs , if it has enough (10+) it could be same issue. If no satellites it could be the gps module itself. I think the gps module is the same across the hplus, h3 , h520 and h520e

Please describe the symptoms of the crash. (Did the screen freeze? Did it shutdown? Would it restart? ...etc.)

Did you perform a factory reset prior to installing DataPilot?
What version of DataPilot did you install?
How did you install DataPilot? (source of files, method)

Did you bind the H520E to the controller?
What method did you use to rebind?

Is the unit outside with a clear view of the sky?

The H520 does not work with the Typhoon H GUI. I do not have an H520E available to check, but I doubt it will work either.

None of the PX4 based Yuneec drones (H Plus, H520, H520E etc.) work with Typhoon H GUI. But the ST16 records TLOG files that can tell us more what is going on.
Sometimes it is enough to wait a little bit longer outside in open area until GPS lock comes true.
