Please read thread all instructions are there in the thread I told you about started by Steve Carr March 13. Are you on Mac or PC? You will want to download "Android File Transfer" to send the files to a Micro SD card installed in your ST-16....I'm sorry I have other things I need to attend to...so can't be more helpful at this time.

Link I gave you is APK and everything else however just APK decompressed and reinstalled should launch your ST16 and allow you to do most recent software/firmware version of everything you need the way you would traditionally do it. Would you consider yourself computer savvy? If the answer is yes it's easy if the answer is no you will have fun learning how to decompress the files dragging them from computer to your micro SD Card and then reloading APK with Android's install software. You never even responded as to what platform you're on...I can't give you much help without that information I use Macs but can boot Windoz when needed.
