I'm currently playing about with editing of 4k video shot with my Q500 4K.
Can anyone recommend software ware for joining clips and maybe a bit of slow mo.I tried AVS but quality of work looked rough, maybe wrong settings.

Cheers

I like PowerDirector 14 !

Filimora or Adobe Premiere is good. Filmora is cheaper and does great with transitions.

If you have a Mac, the newest iMovie will do since its 4K compatible now.

Either Mac or PC, try the free version of Davinci Resolve from Blackmagic Design. Unfortunately the free version will only let you export to HD, but thats plenty good enough for the web

I too use PowerDirectot14. Very pleased with the features of the program.

I use Final Cut Pro on my MAC exclusively for editing. I think I aged 5 years trying to edit with any Windows based machine and program. Granted the least time I tried to edit was using Roxio on my Dell 15 years ago. I'm sure editing programs have come a long way since then.

Vegas Pro 14

I was looking at Amazon Power director 15 for $66.99 I was told it is a good buy and somewhat easy to use for those that use windows?
