Can always mute the native track, either during a simple playback or during editing.

Nothing to mute, let alone review if needed, if not recording sound in the first place. That was the point @HokieDrone was trying to make, I do believe. [emoji3]

That’s exactly what I was thinking. You can always turn down the volume on your computer and you can edit out the sound with editing software but if you don’t record it during the flight there’s no way you can ever get it. I actually don’t like the fact that the camera settings default to sound off. It’s an extra step that I usually remember but there have been a couple of times that I’ve forgotten and it’s usually when I’m putting about the fourth battery in.
