Wind

I crashed one of those things and almost crashed another when I was a lot younger. Got lucky and didn't get badly hurt but from then on if it didn't have a fuselage, glare shield, and a cockpit I wouldn't get in it.

No fuselage nor windscreen is best ever.

Best take lessons @profi....

:)

Me before they invented useful camera's (some time ago, but still going strong)

Absolutely, Dr D... did a little with Paragliding around 2002, but never got the money together to get a nice noisy motor for it... :(

I haven't flown the H in winds higher than 30mph yet. No problem taking off, flying, and landing at 27mph-30mph but you do need to know how to deal with wind for the T/O and landing. RTH for an auto land is not a smart thing to do when winds are high. 15mph is but a light breeze to the H.
Yeah the beast took it like a breeze. I'm soo much more confident in this drone now. I'm ready for the 30mph club lol. Thanks for all your help bud.

Sorry I took so long guys its lime all the answers came in at once lol. Thanks again for everyones help. She handled it like the wind wasnt even there amd we had some good 20 to 25mph gust and that didnt even fase the beast.

Nice to hear you did well. Always remember what was mentioned about flying long distances down wind when winds are high. Battery consumption will always be faster in high winds as the system has to use more power to hold position and beat back against the wind, so flight time will be less than normal. Plan on being back to your take off/landing location with plenty of battery left to make several landing attempts in the event the first one or two are undesirable. You also don’t ever want to be in a position to experience a low battery auto land when far away.

I got to the first battery warning.. Just wanted to see how long it would take... It took bout 15 min. Maybe more then I landed. I know she could take much more. I do know about what your talking about and I everyone should know about that even though the H is a beast lol. You da man pat thanks for always helping bud.
