Battery charger modification

What value would I need to set my multimeter at to check the ohms on each cell.
You cannot check the battery IR with a multimeter. It will burn up your meter.

Guys thanks for all your input into my post i really appreciate all your help, I've purchased the smart battery checker so should have it by tomorrow or the next day at the latest. Then I can check the IR of the cells and see what's happening. I will post the results thank you all again lads.

Guys the result of the IR test was as follows cell 1: 0.010. Cell 2: 0.020 cell 3: 0.020. Cell 4: 0.015
