Hi

I have a adapter for a after market charger for the Q500. The charger I am going to use is a Orion touch screen. With this I can check 1 cell at a time when it charges. Attached is a picture of the the battery it uses.

Which are the positive and negative on the gold connectors?

Thank you
Mike

Does the adapter have a red and a black lead for the main contacts on the battery? Usually red is + and black is –.

If in doubt measure them with a multimeter.

Yes, measure the voltage on the battery main terminals and note the polarity. The adapter will most likely have red for + and black for –.

exactly... and if the voltmeter reading comes back negative... reverse the red and black leads from the voltmeter... there you'll have it... the red lead is + and the black is -
