Big unknown drones flying over USA skies?

Hi everyone.
Tonight watching the news on TV I saw a report about the sighting of many large drones, we are talking about 4 or 5 meters (~13 to 16 feet) in several states of the USA. Many of them have been reported as UAPs or UFOs. They even showed some close-up shots and they are really huge. Some citizens were trying to shoot them down.

Does anyone have any news about it?

Lots of misinformation on just about any US news site you visit. Not at all sure if most are even drones. Of any sort. To me it seems to have some elements of crowd panic fueled by attention seekers. Real, hoax, misunderstanding or otherwise, until someone in authority can make a positive statement instead of endless, lame recitals of possibilities, the fun will continue.

Thanks for your point of view. From last informations circulating here in Italy, there are same sightings in UK and Germany. What is strange is that no one from defense ministery says anything about.
We will see...

I'm still trying to figure out how an American in China received his drink delivered via a drone. The design was almost identical to a typhoon h. Same landing gear and a hexacopter.

Hello Pilots,
As some of the exmilitary have sugested we have had the ability to see what type of candy you were eating from in space. These are over or close to a Military Installation. If there was a security breach or a creditable threat there would be more fire works. My opinion is this is a false flag or perhaps a chance to change the regulation on DRONES. The reason is this is what most of the authorities were saying in the press breifing.

I’m not sure if it’s drones? I saw a video where someone in a helicopter was chasing a drone for a hour and traveling around 100 mph ! First thing I don’t have a drone that can fly that long or that fast. And in China a group of drones are dropping out of the sky by the hundreds! Wow

I watched the preparations of unlimited numbers of drones so it seemed for doing the nutcracker ballet. Rows and rows of computerized drones in sync. Absolutely amazing and whoever assembled this massive ingenuity could probably explain much of this.

Do you have a source for that?

I just checked the Air Control app and I do not see any restrictions in place that are out of the ordinary. Also checked the FAA TFR site and found nothing unusual.

These 1NM TFR's are some of the biggest kneejerk reactions to a non-threat situation I have ever seen. Just goes to show how mass public hysteria can make public figures make a complete azzhat of themselves. Social media and network news can whip up a Mt Everest from the smallest molehill.

Civilians should be able to download Drone Scanner and get some type of info.
Granted not all uav operators are playing by the rules...I get that but there should be at least some info on the local enforcement units in the area as well other adults who may be in the air just looking around.

Very good point. It enforces the thought that many of the public, most politicians and even local law enforcement, have likely never heard of RID and are not interested in it if they have.
