Hello Everyone!
I inherited a Yuneec Chroma Blade Drone with st10+ Controller. Pardon my ignorance with terminology. I would like to find a manual to read so as to familiarize myself with this unit. I have flown much smaller drones so I have some basic knowledge of how to fly but nothing like this. I charged batteries and controller and much to my surprise they all have held a great charge! I have bound the …….shoot can’t remember what it was…..anyway….reset it too before binding. Now We just sit and blink and single beep and I read up on how to get it to fly! Been doing a lot of that! Thinking a manual will help me to get props to spin. Do you guys have access to manuals?

These might help. The "manuals" are not much more than cheat sheets. If you will tell us the color and pattern of the rear LEDs we may be able to interpret the code.

Controller says Model and Camera are not connected still.
You will need to run the full binding diagnostics. (link below)
The verification is not just "binding instructions". It is a verification of the MANY hidden clues in the binding process. The purpose is to identify abnormal conditions that are preventing a successful bind and to identify the exact point the binding process is failing. That information can assist in determining the best course to remedy the problem.
You will need to perform every step up to the point the verification does not match what you see. Do not skip any steps. Every step must be performed. Even the steps you have no doubt are already in the correct condition. After some preparation steps, the verification falls into a routine of directing an action, then verifying the correct response to the action. When you reach a verification step that does not match what you see, or if you are unsure if it matches, STOP. Report the step number back to the forum, and what you actually saw at that step. We can then go from there.

Chroma Binding Verification

When I try to bind, it asks for Model and Camera. So I went in and set the model and camera. Each said setup complete.
Since this concept has appeared a couple times recently, it might be worth stating that selecting the Model and Camera are not the same thing as binding to the Model and Camera that are selected. They are both steps in the binding process, but they are not the binding process itself.

I would create a new model before setup and bind both, camera and drone. It's a better start point if we do not know what happened before with the drone. Nothing may be wrong with it but better to be on the safe side, I have a couple of models on my ST10 for different purposes. Having more than one model is never a problem as long as you select the right one to fly.

Once camera and drone are bound it may take some time before you can start the drone. Reason is that it needs a proper GPS fix. If it was not powered on for a longer time or if it was on a place far away from the actual place then the GPS needs to collect several data about the satellites. Let it sit outside in a free area for a while, the ST10 too. It may take up to 12 minutes to achieve the exact GPS positioning functionality because the satellites sends the full data all 12 minutes and you don't know when you step in into this period.

I bought a brand new Blade 350QX and started it but it won't fly. I thought I'd had bad luck with this kind of stuff again and it was defective.
But it came directly from China, which is probably really far away. The drone took 15 minutes before I could start it and 15 minutes is a long time when you have a new man toy, you know? The next time it took me less than a minute to start it up and I'm still having fun with it today.

Okay, pretty sure it hasn’t been started in a few years. I started the bind sequence as suggested. I stopped at no blue light to the right of WiFi blinking blue light. Sorry, don’t remember what that light represents. Figured I needed to recharge all involved as drone and controller sat in on position while I read up on what I was doing. When charged completely I will try again and pay closer attention to get terminology right so can convey what it is doing. Question: If one item in binding process doesn’t do right. Do I need to address that first issue before I can move on to the next step. In other words, is it a “if this happens, then do this” situation? If that makes any sense?

"Do I need to address that first issue before I can move on to the next step."
Absolutely stop and report!! That is the key to this process. If you keep moving, it just becomes a mess. You have no way to tell if any new things are really new things or if they are just "error carried forward" from the first thing. With that said, however, there are times we will tell you to move forward.

Also note it is easier to understand if you say "Stopped at Step 5 because the blue light was.....(off? /solid?/ etc.)".

In the case of Step 5, it may take a moment for the GPS light to start flashing.

I charged batteries and controller
It is okay to leave the controller at full charge, but not the drone batteries. They need to be stored at half charge. After you fly with them just leave them partially discharged until the next time you plan to fly. Try not to keep LiPo batteries at full charge for more than 24 hrs.
