That would be the thing to do. If it had been a couple days since the first flight, and no battery charge, it's a good possibility the battery is just dead.
LiPo batteries are more complicated than other types. Many things will lead to their early failure. You may want to look at some posts on how to treat them to get good service from them.

Yes sir got her charging up right now. I saw not to over charge them and I'm just tryna make sure I done burn them out with them costing 100 a pop
 
If you are on a standard charger, it will not overcharge. And stopping short of a full charge is one of the things that is not good for them.
 
Give the battery a full charge before you try to fly again. Start landing procedures around 11V and be on the ground before the first low battery warning.
