Camera Delay

Is there a way to improve the camera delay when taking a picture ? there seems to be a 1 - 2 sec delay between clicking the shutter the button and the controller indicating that a picture is taken, i could see this being an issue when trying to time an action shot etc, anyone else had this issue ?

Not aware of anything to reduce the lag time. But, depending on the the job and how the images will be used, I will often film a video at the highest resolution and pull stills from it. The resulting images are fine for many uses. That way you never miss a shot.

That's also a good option if you are fairy certain (within a few seconds) of the timing.

Maybe it's current design limitation and hope can improve in the next generation.
