Good morning all, I'm the type of of guy that likes to carry spare parts when out for an afternoon of flying,
A few extra drone batteries and an extra controller battery.

And I charge my batteries with a Imax B6 V2, lipo's are basic, but these controller batteries are different so I'm asking if anybody has experience with using other than OME chargers to charge them, like what amperage to set the charger at.

The B6 can charge a variety of different types, including LI-Ion

The controller batteries are protected 18650 li-on cells. You could make a 2 pin lead for the battery to the iMax and connect to the main port, not the balance. Set the iMax to 1s and charge current of 2 - 3 Amps, job done.

Cool, thanks Jimmy,

I'm going to get out to the brick & mortar hobby shop for a pin connector lead, they have them with the banana leads a set up.

Well if they're open, we're still on the Covid non-essential lock out,,,,,,
But you'd think that they should be allowed to do business as that they are essential for us, and we're darned important, right?

They are available on Amazon.
