Greetings to all. I've been flying small drones for a number of years now and I finally decided to get myself something a bit more challenging.
Having said that, the smaller drones with no safe modes, GPS etc, although simple, can be quite tricky to fly properly, and make excellent trainers, especially for orientation purposes.
Anyway I managed to wangle a brand new q500+ which came with the Steady Grip, for just over $600, and have been watching probably hundreds of videos on YouTube as well as reading the manuals etc.
I am currently waiting for Yuneec's Q500 simulator dongle to arrive (probably tomorrow) and I intend to crank up a few hours on that before I take the plunge...er...I'll rephrase that ....before my first flight.
Hope to join some interesting discussions on this forum and look forward to "meeting" you all.
John
