Converting .mkv video files - using the E90

Hi all again,

I see that when I shoot video with the E90 on the H520, it saves to a .mkv file format even though I have the video settings for MP4.

I've tried a couple of video converters online that don't do crap.

Any ideas or suggestions for converting these videos to MP4 that can be seen by the average viewer?

A good video converter is HandBrake:
HandBrake: Open Source Video Transcoder

Hope it will work with .mkv (Matroska) files in 4K, I have not tested it. But I have other strange formats like .dv converted to MP4 with it.

Thanks for the link - this little tool is actually working quite well! Huzzah! I can now save these to MP4 that plays well on any video platform! Awesome!!!!

ST16 is possibly not powerful enough to show 4K videos. I never tried that as my notebook is also not powerful enough to play 4K videos smoothly, and it is more powerful than ST16 for sure.
