Download E90/H520 video files without removing SD card

My apologies, I bet this has already been discussed, but for the life of me I can't find it!
Is there any way to download/transfer the video files from my E90/H520 to my computer (Mac), without removing the SD card?

There is a way to download using the camera wifi but it could take many hours to transfer the files. It's much easier and faster to simply remove the card.
