I got an e30z zoom camera recently. I know I might seem a bit silly but I’m definitely still a novice, it should be arriving with me this week and in the picture I noticed I comes with 2 foam balls or something, anyone know what they are for 😅

Don't know for sure.
The add pictures on two websites showed four of them. This picture shows something that looks like them being used as landing gear foot pads.
Maybe the camera needs a little extra ground clearance?

To replace the original pads on the landing gear. The camera is longer than E90 and will touch the ground in vertical position with original shoes.

That camera has a tripod mount. Each of the three points have two dampers.
I believe that camera will only fit the e520. If your current 520 has four corner dampers this camera will not work.
As Vaklin mentioned, the rubber landing gear balls are needed to raise the 520 to allow room for the camera to point down.

Edit: I added pics below in post number 8 which indicates this camera may work with the H520.

Cheers everyone, that all makes sense, hopefully it has 4 foam legs, box looks like it has 2. I’ve a few pictures from seller to show what image looks like zoomed in. Must have been used for inspections. Hopefully it’s for the h520 and not the e model 491996cb-4c33-4beb-af9a-8848a6be4c6d.jpeg

This is the camera in your pics. The slide mount may indeed work on the H520.

That’s a relief, I usally buy to sell but this will be added to things I use so looking forward to testing it, came as a big bundle. Finally getting a h plus also , excited to try it out, will share a few pics with the group 2moro when all arrives , probably of no interest to others but I’m excited 😂

Hope ur keeping well Steve. Always great hearing from u, was u who introduced me to this group after all, great little community
I’ve got a few big suppliers now Steve so if u or wtfdproject ever looking for anything yuneec drop me a message and I can source items from Europe for u. U probably have a lot of sources urselves in the states and customs always an issue I understand but if I can get into the us market I’d happily post u items with no charge until u received it and I’ll take the loss on the vat until I figure a way to avoid it. Ur knowledge and experience is invaluable to the community here and I appreciate ur quick reply’s and support no matter the topic

I’ve not yet bought a bundle without some issue. So the h plus wen u push the power button nothing happens, tried again shortly after and it did power on, after switching off again same issue, won’t power back on. Faulty switch perhaps? Anyone seen this issue b4.

Please confirm you mean there are NO beeps/sounds, arm LEDs, any small LEDs on the main ESC board, camera LED, camera stabilizing, or any response at all from the system when it does not start.
There is some history of start/stop issues with H Plus and adverse interactions with QGroundControl, but I believe all of those involved at least some response during the failed starts. I also don't believe they were intermittent. When it failed, it stayed failed until the issue was resolved.

If there is no response at all:
Have you tried with a different battery?
Is there any evidence of bad battery contacts?
Do you have another On/Off button you can install?

All up and running again, was simply a faulty switch 😁

Yes so I had a spare switch from a 480, looked the same but wire slightly longer, same connections. When I used this it stayed powered on but wouldn’t go off again. I took a switch out of one of my h520 to test before ordering a replacement to confirm the issue and it works as it should with the h520 switch. The h520 and the h plus have the same switch, I suppose they are pretty much the same hex. Lovely to get an easy fix, it’s all part of the hobby 😁

Impressive clarity and pitch control at that distance. If you launched from either of the open lots adjacent to your map point, that steeple is ~ 2.75Km (~1.75 miles) away. Wow.
