External charging for ST16 battery with a Team Tenergy multi charger

I have a team Tenergy Charger, and I am trying to balance my ST16 battery

Specs 3.6v / 7800mAh / 31.32Wh

Has anyone tried charging / balancing it with a team Tenergy external charger

Charging while it is still in the ST16 controller takes forever...I though maybe I had the balance

Right. To balance charge there must be two or more cells. The ST16 battery is a single cell. I charge it at 3 or 4 amps.
