This article seems to make it sound like we dont have to register anymore(until the repeal of section 336). is that true, or do we still have to register?

The FAA has already made it clear the rules of 336 should be followed until the new section is implemented. Registration is required under it as well. There’s also the fact that registration was mandated after an earlier repeal under a national defense bill totally separate from Section 336. Depending on how you fly them, either the drone or the user must be registered to legally operate.

o snap no i did not see the date and yes i was pretty sure that i had to register anyways no matter what that thing said.
