After have a brief look at the FAA website, I can't find any info about how a person like myself, a Canadian, can fly in the USA without violating FAA policy. My questions would be:
1) Do i need to be registered with the FAA?
2) Can I even register with the FAA?
3) What would happen if I don't register?
I don't think they have any plans regarding foreigners with drones coming into the States with a drone for taking sweet vacation videos.
Cheers,
Stew
****Never mind....after posting on another forum, I was directed to this website UAS Registration Q&A and to Q11 regarding non-resident flyers. I would be upset willfully disclosing my personal info to a foreign government, but i'm sure the NSA already knows more about me than I do LOL
