Gimbal problem?

I had a gimbal problem today, anyone seen it before and know what to do? The initial startup looked wrong and the camera did not rotate a full 360 (the camera was free to move and there were no obstructions). Before powering up, the gimbal /camera could be moved in all directions as normal so I don’t think it is a physical obstruction to movement.

After the start up sequence was complete I could control the camera but the gimbal would only rotate to the right and that was intermittent. Flicking the FPV switch brought the camera to forward facing but again I could only rotate to the right. In flight video was impossible as it looked like the gimbal was ‘juddering’, I managed a few stills at high shutter speed and orientated the camera by spinning the drone.

Is it a gimbal failure? Any ideas for a fix?

I have not heard of that before but it’s certainly possible for and actuator to fail or lose it’s position sensors. Have you spoken with Yuneec about this?
