Where are you finding the aircraft leadDownloaded the GUI program and tried to connect the cable. The end doesn't match the aircraft lead. Any help?
If the end of the GUI cable is too small it's because that end of the cable connects to the camera. Disconnect the piece that is 3-4 inches long and then the GUI cable should hook to the birdI understand did you try flipping over, It'll only go in one way
was it the piece on the connector or inside the Q?Ah Ha! now I see the little piece. Can't believe I didn't notice it. Thanks so much for your help !!

Do you have the Q turned on?Now when I plug the GUI cable into the USB port the computer won't recognize it. How do I download the correct USB driver?
Can't help you there dude...I didn't have to download any driversNow when I plug the GUI cable into the USB port the computer won't recognize it. How do I download the correct USB driver?
The USB cable is a simple USB to serial converter with FTDI chip.
The driver can be found here: D2XX Direct Drivers
Once the driver is installed correctly then you see another device in device manager section "Port (COM & LPT).
Connect Q500 with USB, start the GUI and then switch on the Q500. It should be recognized on the COM port that is indicated at device manager.
