Right. Turn off the anti-virus software so you can download it. There is no virus in this software. It's also best to download from Yuneec with Chrome of FireFox.I suggest you turn off your antivirus
Despite a previous statement of mine to the contrary, the new GUI software does contain a trojan. I ran a scan after uploading it on the second try where it was identified and removed. Run a file scan prior to downloading. I use Firefox and AVG. My anti virus initially disconnected my laptop from the web on the first download attempt.
What: Win32:Sality
Where: C:\Program Files (x86)\TyphoonHGUI\driver\x32.exe
I asked Yuneec about this over a year ago. They said it's a false positive. (Firefox and Avast)
It's the 32 bit driver that alarms. Anyone that's nervous can run it on an x64 system and delete the x32 file.Perhaps the false positives are coming from overly conservative programmes. I've had no problems and am happy to continue using the gui.
AVG is very good at picking things up that some other anti virus applications miss. Do you use the free version or the paid for version?Despite a previous statement of mine to the contrary, the new GUI software does contain a trojan.
