Well I did fly it before the update and noticed a small amount of drifting. I had read that the update fixed that. Nope.
Also, installing firmware for any electronic device isn't exactly rocket science. Any firmware update that comes with secret ways to install it, like putting it in Team Mode, and without those instructions along with the update download information is crap in my opinion. I am getting a little bitter because of this drone. I've installed a powertrain control module on a Jeep, built a computer from scratch and modified video gaming systems. Those things were difficult and required finesse. Firmware that is in essence plug and play shouldn't be like a puzzle to install.
Please understand my snarkiness is not directed towards you. I'm just pretty ticked that a $1500 drone is giving me this many problems.
