"H" Video files causing fatal pc crashes

I would continue to shoot in your footage in 4K... you can always reduce the file size with any number of MP4
video converters out there to whatever lower resolution your computer can handle. Then if you archive the
original 4K MP4s on an external drive, when you upgrade your system in the future, that new hardware will be
able to handle processing your original 4K video.


I have one more suggestion for you. Make sure you are using a Micro SD card that is a Class 10, and is rated as UH3. I recently bought a new Samsung 64 GB Micro SD card with that capability and it works great! I was using UH1 before, but the video was choppy when I tried to play it back in my computer! I also view my videos using the VLC player.
