Ha. Eagle takes out DJI drone

They don't call em 'Birds of Prey' for nothing;) and if you're flying a tiny drone in their territory, you'd better 'prey' they don't see you. I got a pair of Bald Eagles that live next to our flying site, so far they are watching with curiosity but come spring all bets will be off. I've also had Hawks take a run at my Plus a time or two.

Anytime I see a bird bigger than my H.... I freak. They always fly around looking with curiousity and judgement. Debating if they can take it or not..... it worries me sometimes.

I imagine the eagle decided that it couldn't eat it or take it home to feed to the chicks so it let go, otherwise it would be gone baby gone.

My fear of birds:

Pigeons 200% close call. I am afraid of them. lol

Crows 70% Close call, but these birds are predictable.

Hawks 110% close call. I never fly if they are around as well.

Seagulls 10% Noisy and predictable

Turn off GPS and go into chase mode when they start getting frisky. Keep the video rolling but don’t post it anywhere[emoji4]

Nowadays, I value my drones. I’m getting old, man.. lol
