Gotta love a maker that creates a non standard battery plug that prohibits the use of standard plug batteries. Even worse when the proprietary plug cannot be obtained from accessory sources.

Yep. Obtain a group of parts necessary to lay up the configuration in some molding clay, and pour thickened epoxy around everything to secure the parts in place. Remove the clay and you have an adapter. Alternatively, lay up the form in a manner that makes up top and bottom sections that will be glued together after the hardware is installed, which allows making a whole bunch of adapters from one set of molds.
