I like the Pan Mode newer cameras are using where the camera pan follows the position of the knob K1.

In short:
Channel Settings > A06/Ch10 > S2 > set Pos 1 from -40% to -89%
This will replace the Follow Pan Controllable Mode (middle position of the S2, Pan mode switch) by Angle Pan Mode
You will get full range of camera pan with this mode when Pan control will be up to 150%
Channel Settings > A04/Ch8 > K1 > Rate R from 100% to 150% and Rate L from -100% to -150%
