You cannot... the Camera is the Maximum Payload, anything else added just shortens the Flight Time.
1. You can remove the camera.
2. You can use 15.2v batteries instead of 14.8v batteries.

I try these crazy conditions in a country, not in other country : without the CG03 camera, the possibility is 250 gr, flying at 300 meters, good meteo, good eye. A motor less, 50 gr. A lipo battery with a adapter i can win 50 gr too. Without the legs, you must landing on your hand. It's dangerous.

I use mine to fly out 1kg baits 1500 ft on the regular, every weekend. I use a swellpro ts2 mounted to a carbon fiber plate that I installed under the gimbal mount and tied to the Intel real sense holes (real sense not installed). Works just fine with the camera installed as well...... And if it ends up in the ocean ... So be it

I use the GoPro 360 or Hero 10 regularly on the mounts we make and have never had a problem caring 600gm with little battery drain. I have also run up to 1000g with two extra cameras at that point I would assume the battery would decrease. I use the GIFI 8050 mah and rarely fly mor then 10-12 minutes . As a result I probably do not see it.

Does anyone know how to modify to carry more weight I was sold this drone under the impression I'd be able to deliver merchandise at least ten pounds up to five plus miles away can anyone assist
You were badly misled.
The Typhoon H cannot be modified to lift anything close to 10 pounds. The range is never going to be more than a couple thousand yards even under the most ideal circumstances. Flying around trees, buildings or anything else that breaks the line of sight will limit range to a LOT less than that.
