Is website down?

Just throwing this out there. I have been on the Yuneec website probably 100+ times over the last 10 months, trying to work out a warranty issue. The latest visit and online chat was this past week. I have never had an issue in the past. Now, since last night, I cannot get on whatsoever. Tried my Android phone with chrome and windows desktop with chrome. I just plan on calling them on Monday.
No, it just doesn't work I have cleared cache etc Yuneec UK works fine but I don't want EU updates Yuneec.com sucks they don't give a ****!

It's definitely a SSL certificate issue. If you go to Yuneec.com, even after clearing your browser, it redirects to the HTTPS site, which isn't working. If you can clear your browser and then go to HTTP:\\us.yuneec.com it might work. If you are using Chrome try Edge. Clearing the cache in Edge allowed it to work if you go directly to Aerial Drones | Yuneec USA. Clearing your cache in Chrome will not work. You have to muck with the security settings. Either way, if you get it working for Aerial Drones | Yuneec USA and then accidently go to yuneec.com you are screwed and have to start over again as it sets httpS as the default.

What needs to happen is that Yuneec must turn on HTTS for the US home page. They must have made an update and missed re-enabling HTTPS. I'll call their sales office again on Monday and relay precisely what the issue is. Sales is the only ones who pick up the phone lol.

The boss is going to be pissed when she/he finds out the US site's been down for 2 weeks.

The site is not down... it is only down for those who persist in trying to go to the https web address. As mentioned now several times in this thread, if you type in us.yuneec.com in the address bar of your browser you will get to the site.

OK, technically you are correct. Yet the main site Yuneec.com redirects to an HTTPS site that doesn't exist, or not enabled. They need to correct it as HTTPS is the correct protocol, given the redirect from Yuneec.com.

I understand that... the point being that there is an easy workaround. I do want to thank you for being willing to invest the time in calling them on Monday. It is a possibility that they are unaware of it, but as has been mentioned it has been this way for a while... no possibility they have no idea what is going on on their site for more than a 24 hour period.

No, you use any other browser other than firefox and it goes right to it

You're right, I will revise my statement...

That's not true. It depends on your security settings.

Actually, they didn't know for two+ weeks the site was having issues. I just got off the phone, having proved the issue to their IT department, they are working on it now.

Also not true for those of us running late model Macs, I've tried all the suggestions in this thread, and it either continues to default to https:// and sight can't be reached, or tells me I can't go to a non-secure sight. That said, my PC running Chrome can't get there, either, although I'll admit I haven't made an exhaustive attempt on that machine. So just making a blanket statement implying someone is too dumb to follow directions isn't very helpful. Later.

I have a 2 Macs running 10.14.3 (Mojave) and I have had zero issues accessing the Yuneec US site. I can type in "us.yuneec.com" and it goes directly to the site. This is using both Chrome and Safari.

I apologize if you interpreted my post as a blanket statement... however your experience proves that it is not a universal issue or a case of "the site being down", but tied to both OS and browser used. I'm willing to bet, if you go down to a local FedexOffice, you will reach the site with no issue.

@Roach confirmed that the Yuneec webmasters, amazingly enough, were not aware of the https conflict so once they resolve this, the whole matter should become moot.
