Damage isn't too bad, busted one landing gear and three props.

However, five of the six motor arms will not lock in place now.

Any ideas?

I looked at the locking mechanisms on my "H". The catches inside the main frame appear to be quite strong. Make sure the portion where it says "press" is flush (up) with the surrounding structure. That's the position they have to be in when locked in place. Push each one down & make sure it pops back in place. If not, lubricate it.

You need to buy 5 of the clips if they do not lock in place.

A recent thread discussion. might be worth taking them out for inspection, just in case it's some other damage.

I ended up replacing the
whole arm cuz I could not
get the clips out. When I took the arm off, I discovered more damage.
Look real close.
Be very careful so you don't do more damage
Good luck

Well yes it was. Does that really matter?

I have figured out what I need to do to repair it. But thanks for your input.

Thanks Gerogro, you are exactly right. All five clips were broken. Apparently they are designed to fail in hopes of saving the motor arm itself.

Hey Mrgs1, Eagle's Eye Video has a great video on exactly how to remove the clips. check it out. It's posted in two segments on how to replace a motor arm. The clip removal is shown at the very end of the first video and installation is at the beginning of the second. Good luck.

Vic,
The catches within the main frame are fine it is the clips within the arms that a broken. I believe they are designed to do so hopefully preventing damage to the motor arm itself. It's a quick fix and pretty easy to do. Vertigo Drones has the clips for $3.99 each and the landing gear strut for $12.99 so I am getting by pretty cheap. Thanks for the input.
