At least with these we can just let go as long as we have good GPS, then start again once we get our wits about us again. RC planes you have to stay ahead of all the time you’re airborne.
THAT'S what I'm worried about with the 450 helo kit I'm about to build
Anything to keep the old brain ticking over!!!

The song said amongst other things - 'We shall overcome- Yep, years of flying RC fixed wing was a joy:) 'cept when a loop turned out to be a figure 9 !
Old dogs on the road - puppies on the footpath.

WELL.......Here I is agin.
AND....guess what.
I'm airborne and she's flying like she orta!!
Haydn @ Mountainview Enterprises in Queensland provided me with a Flight Control board to test .
After 2 test flights I can say that all is good.
Extremely rapid GPS ready signal, last bootup was less than 2 minutes to "lock" with only a handful of sats.
She barely moves when in a hover at any altitude, even at one or two feet above ground.
I can't thank Haydn enough for helping me out.
If you're in Oz and need help with your Yuneec give Haydn a call, he will be able to help you
Fine, but blowing a gale here today and over 30c so no flying for me.
Winter is a comin so temps will be a lot more suitable for flying
Cheers all

Very rewarding when she's flying well.
